About Revizer

Revizer is an AI study buddy that replaces passive re-reading with active recall. Upload any notes, PDFs, or images and Revizer turns them into a voice-driven revision session that quizzes you, grades your answers, and schedules follow-up review.

Our Mission

Most students spend hours highlighting notes and re-reading textbooks. The learning science is clear that these are among the least effective study methods. Active recall — retrieving information from memory, even imperfectly — is dramatically more effective at building durable understanding.

We built Revizer to make active recall the path of least resistance. Instead of needing a study partner to quiz you, an empty flashcard app to fill, or the discipline to write your own practice questions, you give Revizer what you are studying and it handles the rest.

Why Voice

Revision sessions in Revizer are voice-first. A synthesised voice reads each question aloud and you can answer by speaking or typing. This matters for two reasons:

  • Hands-free study. You can revise on a walk, during a commute, or while cooking — moments that would otherwise be dead time.
  • Retrieval is a different skill from recognition. Saying the answer out loud forces real retrieval, which is the skill that transfers to exams and real-world application.

The Learning Science

Two ideas underpin every feature in Revizer:

  • Active recall. You learn more from trying to retrieve an answer than from re-reading a passage, even when you get the answer wrong. This is called the testing effect.
  • Spaced repetition. Reviewing information at expanding intervals prevents forgetting much more efficiently than massing all revision into a single session.

Revizer's session scheduling, grading, and feedback loops are built on top of these two principles. The goal is that every minute you spend in the app is high-value revision, not comfortable-but-ineffective passive study.

Musharraf Jamal

Founder & CEO

Musharraf started Revizer after years of watching peers and classmates study in ways that learning science said would not work. Revizer is the app he wished existed — one that makes active recall the default, not the exception.

What Revizer Is Not

Revizer is not a course marketplace. It is not a flashcard maker where you type the questions yourself. It is not a study tracker that just logs hours. It is an active revision tool that takes what you already have and turns it into practice.
